Marc Jacobs knows how you can make a spectacular show with Louis Vuitton. On the last day of Paris Fashion Week MJ presented his collection with as a decor of the Cour Carrée du Louvre which existed out of four different escalators and a yellow-white checkered catwalk. The models who walked down the catwalk in pairs showed the Spring/Summer collection.
It looks like Marc Jacobs was inspired by the sixties while he was creating this collection. Models were wearing a knotted hair ribbon as they walked as twins on the catwalk. We saw a lot of yellow, green, brown and black with white checkered jackets, straight knee long skirts and crop tops.
The typicial Louis Vuitton-damier-pattern was alternated by a graphic flowerprint on for example jackets and dresses. Also on the catwalk: short skirts, dresses with puffed sleeves, transparant elements, sequins, mini jumpsuits and floor lenght dresses.
